Building Agenda Ahead for PECC to end 2003 PECC will hold a Focus Workshop at the PECC General Meeting and five project meetings from September until the end of 2003 making it one of PECC's most active periods for community building. A Focus Workshop on 1 September on the first day of PECC's 15th General Meeting will bring together PECC's community building for the last two years. The Sustainable Cities Task Force will hold a special launch at the General Meeting to release a CD Rom of its work of the last two years including a set of best practices. On 5-6 September PECC will hold a Roundtable on The Role of Airports and Airlines in Trade Liberalization and Economic Growth in Singapore. PECC has scheduled this meeting back-to-back with the General Meeting to encourage participants to attend both meetings. On 16-17 September, the Russian Committees for PECC and PBEC are holding their 5th International Investment Forum on Russian Far East Energy Projects: Problems of Interregional and International Cooperation in Khabarovsk, Russia. It will look at Cross-border Cooperation as a Form of the Far East Integration into North-East Asia. The Russian Committees are encouraging participation from all Member Committees and the wider public. On 12-13 November, the PECC will hold the second its Air Transport Roundtable in the Pacific. This meeting in Noumea hosted by the French Pacific Territories Committee for PECC aims to develop a clearer understanding of the crucial nature of air transport linkages to the economic development of the territories and nations of the South Pacific and to design policy options for more effective development and use of the air transport system. On 19-21 November, the Sustainable Cities Task Force has scheduled its first Conclusive Workshop on Sustainable Urban Services in Adelaide, South Australia. As well as looking at the role of public authorities in sustainable urban development, it will take a particular focus on water and waste management. Also in November in Brisbane, Australia, the Minerals Network will hold its second meeting. It will follow up on last year's meeting on Community Development in Mining and Environment Issues.
