A special seminar on RTAs was held in Beijing on 16 April  "RTAs and the Future of Regional Integration in East Asia and the Asia-Pacific" in conjunction with the SC/CG meetings. The seminar featured panels of experts speakers focusing on the future of regionalism in the Asia-Pacific region.  A  panel of leading trade policy thinkers from China, Japan, Korea and ASEAN presented their views on the possible future evolution of regionalism in East Asia.
